Established in 2023, BooktheChance, the reading branch of TheWriteChance, is dedicated to empowering young learners through the transformative power of reading. Our programs are designed to foster a love for books while building foundational literacy skills that set kids on a path for lifelong learning. Through engaging weekly reading sessions, immersive holiday reading programs, and impactful fundraisers, we provide children with the tools they need to grow in confidence, expand their horizons, and succeed academically.

Our Reading Initiatives
Holiday Reading Programmes
The Holiday Reading Programme is a seasonal, immersive experience designed to deepen children’s love for reading during school breaks. Featuring a mix of themed storytelling, interactive book discussions, and hands-on literacy activities, each program provides an enriching and enjoyable experience that extends beyond the classroom. We incorporate creative activities like story-based arts and crafts, role-play, and group games to make reading more dynamic and memorable.
Weekly Reading Sessions
Our weekly reading sessions provide children with consistent, engaging exposure to a variety of books and reading materials. Each session is thoughtfully structured to support comprehension, vocabulary building, and critical thinking. Through guided group readings, interactive discussions, and activities tailored to each age group, children are encouraged to engage actively with stories, develop their reading confidence, and improve their literacy skills in a fun, collaborative environment.
